Parkville's Pappas Offering Special Deals for Restaurant Week

The seafood restaurant will offer three-course lunch and dinner specials in celebration of Baltimore County's restaurants.

When Baltimore County's Winter Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, the folks at Pappas Restaurant will be ready with special deals for diners.

The Taylor Avenue restaurant known for its self-proclaimed "world famous crab cakes" will offer a three-course dinner for $30.14 and a three-course lunch for $20.14.

Lunch patrons can choose from crab cake, shrimp or salmon offerings, and dinner customers can choose a 10-ounce crab cake, rockfish, shrimp and scallops or two pork chops as their main dinner course.

Pappas was one of 14 eateries scheduled to serve samples of their restaurant week fare at a kick-off event held Thursday at Liquid Lib's in Timonium.

Across the county, 53 restaurants are offering special deals from Jan. 10-26 in recognition of Winter Restaurant Week.

"Baltimore County's restaurants provide not only enjoyment for its patrons, but employment to 25,000 workers," Baltimore County Executive kevin Kamenetz said in a statement announcing the event. "From fine dining to family dining, you'll find something to suit your taste and wallet during Baltimore County Restaurant Week."
