Tree Removal Services for the Parkville-Overlea Area

Most of the damage associated with Irene's high winds came in the form of downed trees—if you don't have your own chain saw, who do you call?

In Baltimore County, County Executive Kevin Kamenetz said the county will take care of any trees in public right of ways. On private property, the county is asking residents to call their insurance companies or hire a removal service.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources recently sent out an email reminding residents that only licensed tree care experts may work on trees in the state.

"All tree care professionals practicing in Maryland must obtain a license. Without a license, they may not practice or advertise tree care services in the state. As a public service we make the names and addresses of licensed tree experts available on DNR Online."
