VIDEO: Silvestri Signs At Collector's Corner

The Harford Road comics shop had Image Comics co-founder Marc Silvestri for a signing this past weekend.

Are you a comic book lover? Maybe you just remember the X-Men fondly from your youth?

Collector's Corner, at 7911 Harford Road, recently had Image Comics/Top Cow Production's Marc Silvestri in for a signing and posted this video of the event to YouTube.

Silvestri, best known for his work on Uncanny X-Men and spinoff title Wolverine in the late 80s and early 90s, is one of the seven original founders of Image Comics, Inc. (along with Todd McFarlane of Spawn fame and Jim Lee of Uncanny X-Men and Batman: Hush, among others).

Silvestri is also the CEO of the comics label Top Cow Productions (Witchblade, The Darkness), where he currently is working on a relaunch of Cyber Force.

Yet I've been a "loyal" Comcast customer for over 15 years now, never late on a payment nor complained when my service failed or I've had an issue that wasn't resolved without me taking "above and beyond" steps. Comcast is a juggernaut that just doesn't care if once it gets your business. You get locked in and then are stuck until your "contract" expires. Mine expires 2/22/2014 or I could cancel and pay $200. I'm going to hold out and then cut cable all together and just have Internet service so my Rokus work. But Verizon FIOS is looking better by the day.
