Does your home have curb appeal?

What's the first impression a prospective home buyer receives when they pull up to the front of your home? First impressions are hard to forget!

A property's curb appear makes a critical first impression. If everything within the front of the house is well-chosen and in perfect repair, from the house numbers, front door, walkway to the landscaping, buyers will think "This house is obviously well cared for." This impression remains with them, even if the rest of the house is actually not so well cared for. It's very hard to change that first impression!

Things to consider that impact your buyer's first impression: Front door (Putting in a new steel door can reap you a payback rate of as much as 73%), windows (Are they clean?), garage (What does that garage door look like?), front porch, driveway (Is it cracked and covered with oil stains?) and after dark (Some well placed outdoor lights or solar lights will enhance your home's visual impact).
