Area Businesses Compete for Small Business Grants

Several Parkville and Overlea area businesses are competing for their share of the $3,000,000 in available grants through Chase's Mission: Small Business program.

Ten local businesses need your support to have the chance to win $250,000 grants through the Mission: Small Business program.

The enterprises range from wedding planning to audio repair, from fitness to comic books and the one thing they all have in common is that they need your vote.

In order to be considered for a $250,000 grant, a business needs to get 250 votes on the Mission: Small Business website by June 30—businesses who get 250 votes will be judged by a panel of business experts, the site says. The program is a collaborative effort between Chase Bank and LivingSocial.
