Area Roads Closed Due to Flooding

The county released a list of road closures around 8:30 a.m. Sept. 8.

UPDATE (4:52 p.m.) — County officials have updated the list of ongoing road closures as a result of flooding brought on by recent heavy rains.

According to the latest update, the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and Cromwell Bridge Road has been reopened but two new closures have taken its place:

  • Notchcliff Road is closed between Harford Road & Glen Arm Road
  • Harford Road is closed at Little Gunpowder Road

Baltimore County has released what officials characterize as "a fluid list" of road closures throughout the county.

As of 8:30 a.m., the intersection of Loch Raven Boulevard and Cromwell Bridge Road has been closed due to flooding.

"Severe flooding has closed dozens of roads, mostly in the western and central areas of Baltimore County. Public safety officials advise motorists to stay off the roads," the county website states.
