President's Day: What's Open? What's Closed?

Schools, government offices among those not open for business on Monday.

Today is President's Day, which means many people are off of work.

Banks are closed and there will be no mail delivery. In addition, Baltimore County Public Schools are closed, as are county government offices; District and Circuit court are also not in session in observance of the holiday, according to a news release.

The county also reports in a release that local libraries and senior centers areclosed while CountyRide vans are not operating.

But, the county does want the public to know that trash and recycling pick-ups will occur as scheduled and drop-off facilities will remain open for business.
