UPDATE (4:15 p.m.) — Road work on the ramp leading from northbound Harford Road to the inner loop of the Beltway has been rescheduled.
Originally slated for Sunday morning, the work has been pushed forward to next weekend, according to Charlie Gischlar, a Maryland State Highway Administration spokesman.
If you're planning to get onto the Beltway toward Essex from northbound Harford Road this Sunday morning, you should make alternate plans.
The Maryland State Highway Administration announced that the ramp leading from northbound Harford Road to eastbound 695 will be closed Oct. 7 from 4 a.m. until noon.
During that time, state crews will work to clean drainage along the ramp.
If you need to get over toward the Essex area, you can always make a U-turn onto southbound Harford Road and use the ramp on the other side of the street.
