Parkville-Overlea isn't exactly known as a tornado-prone region—but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be aware: after all, a tornado did touch down in the Parkville area late last year, severely damaging homes in the Dutch Village community.

A small craft advisory is in effect for the Chesapeake Bay all day Thursday.
