Two Parkville Men, Two $50,000 Jackpots

The Maryland Lottery handed out two scratch-off jackpots to Parkville residents last week.

Lady Luck made a few trips to Parkville last week.

Fred Seeman and Bill Pilkerton, both Parkville residents, each won $50,000 in separate Maryland Lottery scratch-off games.

Seeman, 54, told the lottery how he won. And on Friday, he beat Hurricane Irene to pick up his prize. Seeman said he plans to use the money to pay off his debts and help his friends.

Pilkerton was enjoying half-price burgers last Tuesday with his wife at the After dinner and drinks, he decided to use some Bonus Match 5 winnings to get a scratch-off. When he started scratching the winning ticket, his first thought was that it was a prank. It wasn't, and he left dinner $50,000 richer.
