Director of Baltimore County Public Works, Ed Adams, will discuss future plans to improve the traffic intersection at Joppa Road and Harford Road, at Thursday's Greater Parkville Community Council meeting. This is one of the most congested traffic intersections in the County and impacts the daily travels of many of our residents.
In addition, Mr. Adams will give a brief overview of his department and address residents concerns related to the following:
a.) Repair of local roads, sidewalks, and storm drains
b.) Traffic calming on local residential streets
c.) Maintenance of government buildings.
Other agenda topics include:
a.) Projects and events for Parkville's Harford Road "Main Street" Business District
b.)Proposed development which surrounds the Joppa Road and Harford Road traffic intersection.
Please note that GPCC meetings will be cancelled if public schools are closed or dismissed early due to weather conditions.
GPCC meetings provide a forum for residents to discuss issues with the appropriate decision makers and agencies. Residents and business owners in the Parkville, Carney, and Cub Hill area are welcome to attend GPCC meetings to ask questions, raise issues, and show support for our community. Together we can make a difference in our community and keep it a great place to live, shop, and
raise a family.
