We will be having our 1st meeting of the Carney Improvement Association (CIA) at Christus Victor Lutheran Church Hall. The remainder of the CIA Meetings at Carney Elementary School on the 3rd Wednesday of November 16, 2011, January 18, 2012, March 21, 2012 and May 16, 2012 at 7 p.m.
Our guest speaker this month is our own Pat Rooney. He has had his own security consulting firm for years and he has generously agreed to speak to us on Home Security and Crime Prevention Measures. Due to the downturn in the economy there has been an upturn in crime particularly house breakins and thefts from outlying residential buildings like sheds.
