Planting Day at Parkville Park and War Memorial

Please join us! A few volunteers are getting together to weed and plant flowers around Parkville's War Memorial. The war memorial with flag pole is located in the center of Taylor Avenue, between Harford and Old Harford Roads.

George's Farm Market gave us a good deal on begonias and marigolds to plant in the circle garden that surrounds the memorial. All we need is some more volunteers to help out. To volunteer just show up ready to plant between 8:30 AM and Noon. This is a great way to show your appreciation towards Parkville's veterans of all wars, meet friendly neighbors,and take pride in our community.

The Greater Parkville Community Council sponsors the planting day every year so that the park is will presented for Memorial Day.
