Veteran's Day Ceremony

Please take 15 minutes out of your busy Sunday and join us to remember our Carney Veterans and all American Veterans at the Carney Veterans' Ceremony on Sunday, November 13th at 2 p.m.  The Carney Veterans' Memorial is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Joppa Road (Carney Elementary School at 3131 E. Joppa Road).

Bring a child or grandchild to introduce them to the concept of honoring service. Bring a friend or neighbor or relative. Our society is losing touch with its sense of gratitude for the service of those who leave home and take tremendous risk in the service of the United States of America.

This year we have a flagpole at the Carney Veterans' Memorial because of the persitence of Senator Kathy Klausmeier after a donation was made by Bernie and Paulette Wallace.

This ceremony is held each year by the Carney Improvement Association with the support of the Sons of the American Legion.
