$250K Winning Ticket Sold In Parkville, Still Unclaimed

The ticket was sold at Parkville's Valley View Inn and came up a winner in Friday's drawing.

No one has won the Mega Millions jackpot since January, but one lucky person scored a second-tier winning ticket at Parkville's Valley View Inn.

According to a news release from the Maryland Lottery, the $250,000 winning ticket from Friday's drawing has yet to be claimed.

Tuesday's drawing, broadcast on WBAL at 11:22 p.m. and MPT at approximately 11:53 p.m., will be for a $363 million dollar jackpot — the third largest in the game's history, Maryland Lottery spokeswoman Erica Palmisano said.

The unclaimed ticket from Friday's drawing isn't the first Mega Millions winner to be sold in Parkville.

Bunky Bartlett, a native of Highlandtown, shared in the fifth-largest jackpot of $330 million in 2007 after he bought his winning ticket at a liquor store in Parkville. He then became a part-owner of the now-shuttered new age shop Mystical Voyage in Nottingham.
