Two Inches of Snow Possible for Parkville and Overlea

The current prediction by the National Weather Service is down from the possible three inches predicted Tuesday morning.

It's way too early to say if it will be a white Christmas, but forecasters at the National Weather Service are saying it could be a white Thursday morning at the very least.

According to the Naitonal Weather Service, it looks like today's rain will become a combination of rain and snow overnight as temperatures drop into the low 30s, and then switch to just snow some time after 1 a.m.

An accumulation of one to two inches of snow is possible, and a winter weather advisory is in effect for 21234, 21236 and 21206 until at least 3 a.m. Thursday.

Snow will cause "primarily travel difficulties," and drivers should "use caution," and "be prepared for limited visibility," if they are out overnight, the warning says.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 43 degrees.
