Megan has been hired by cosmetics empire owner Laurel Limoges to teach her granddaughters Sage and Rose Baker, so they'll get into Duke University via halfway decent GPAs. (Grandma's fortune couldn't get them into Duke, so they'll have to get in like the rest of the world.) Sage and Rose, however, want nothing to do with school, academics, or Megan; they'd rather have sex, shop, and paint their nails. Their future plans involve inheriting Grandma's fortune and becoming reality tv stars.
Chick-lit-y and, at times, funny, How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls makes a pretty good beach read. Megan makes not one but two gay male best friends, gets a makeover, and meets a cute guy who likes her.
