Enjoy your weekend with area activities in the arts, entertainment for singles, tubing, a shrimp feast, and Native American culture.

Get ready for this weekend with a few activity ideas from Patch.

Singles Enjoying the Arts
Where/ When:  On Friday, meet for dinner at 6 pm at the Order Sons of Italy Lodge in Little Italy. The movie, Falling in Love (Robert DeNiro, Meryl Streep — PG13), starts around 9 pm.
Why Go?: SETA (Singles Enjoying the Arts) is an "organization of adults who enjoy sharing cultural events in a friendly and social atmosphere. Events are planned for every weekend," as stated on their website.

Pricing:  The movie is free, and dinner is affordable.

Poetry, Music, and Art
When/ Where: Anthology 1, Film Collaboration Party at the Creative Alliance on Friday.
Why Go?:  Poetry presented as you've never seen it before: classic poets like Yeats' and Dickinson's works with a modern spin.
Pricing: $10

Harford Park Shrimp Feast
Where/When: Harford Park Community Association Hall - 2522 Linwood Road, on Saturday from 6 pm to 9 pm.
Why Go?:  Come to a shrimp feast and support the Harford Park Community Association.
Pricing: Tickets $25 for adults and $12 for children 12 and under.

Tubing on the Little Gunpowder
Where/When: Gunpowder Falls State Park, 10000 Belair Road,  Kingsville, MD on July 9 and 10.  Meet at 10 am, return by 3 pm.
Why Go?:  Run by Oregon Ridge Nature Center, this is a perfect time of year to lay back, float, and enjoy one of the most beautiful tributaries in Maryland.  Bring lunch and water gear. Call to register and to get directions. Children must be at least 8 years old.  Kids under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Pricing: The cost is $10.

Perry Hall Town Fair
Where/When: Honeygo Village Center - Honeygo Blvd, on July 9, from 10 am. to 5 pm.
Why Go?:  The Perry Hall Town Fair will house more than 110 vendors, and wine and beer gardenA giant slide in the Kids Zone, obstacle course, and two moon bounces ensure fun for the mini-me's in your life as well. Enjoy live music, a silent auction, and free parking with shuttle service.
Pricing:  Free 

Native American Festival and Pow-wow
Where/When:  The Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium hosts the celebration of Native American culture this weekend.
Why Go?:  Dancers, crafts, jewelry and fine art vendors along with hoop dancing, smoke dancers and food make this an interesting, entertaining and fun event for the whole family.
Pricing:  Call 410 675-3535 for admission cost.
