Bravo, bravo Grace. 1ke is not sounding very mature today. Pull your pants up and straighten your cap.

The area of Overlea, Fullerton started going down hill over fifteen years ago. When the ghetto trash started to move into the neighborhood is when I decided to sell my home in Fullerton and move out where there is no MTA or Light rail service. I have found that over the years, every area that the MTA and Light rail moved into the crime rate has gone up and it appears they are doing nothing more than transporting the criminal element from the city out into the county.

John you can thank Kamenetz, Dutch and Smith for that. It all started with the Section 8 and will only get worse. When things like the cop shooting and this happens who want to move there. The value of the home goes down and you can't sell.
My brother's house has been on the market of over three years. His area is being hit the same way with Section 8 and crime. From his office he watches the drug dealers every day and it's both black and white. I say to the people you get what you voted for. It will only get worse. Try going to WM Mall on a Friday and Saturday night. Let your eyes see the truth.

Right, John. Tell Grace that it happened at the bus stop. Race or no race. Actually, race is irrelevant. I have fought with people of all races at bus stops.
And, Buzzy Boy, folks are happy to get a hold of that gov'ment money instead of selling mom's and pop's house at a big loss because it is worn out in a worn out neighborhood and white folks have moved on in answer to Prosperity's call. Say it ain't so.
1ke December 16, 2012 at 10:39 pm
You sound like ghetto trash, too. Rash judgments. A tincture of hate. Go far away, buddy, and wait for the next gas crisis.
1ke December 16, 2012 at 11:24 pm
This is between me and Buzz. Are you sure you want to get involved? Kind of like standing on the bus stop, eh?
corie December 17, 2012 at 01:54 pm
The issue here is not nec race, it is youth, the girl was struck because they were running back and forth across the street, then the driver who hit her stopped and the crowd of people that were there tried to attack him , and the peple who saw what happened and were trying to help. On Saturday night at the same location there was again a mob of 14 and 15 year old kids fighting at the bus stop at night and running across the street. A neighbor came outside and asked them to qiuet down and said you realize someone was just hit by a car , the other night, they turned it racial yelling at her to shut the f up calling her a white bitch telling her to go back inside and mind her own business. They were disrupting the peace, keeping her awake, it is her damn business. I ride the bus everyday to and from work and when a group of teens get on they are loud, disrespectful and ignorant , it needs to stop, people are out of control. The group of teens involved in both incidents on bel Air rd were black, but the people who make it a race issue are black people.
CD December 17, 2012 at 01:55 pm
I drove by the scene right as it happened and stopped to see if anyone needed assistance. There was no mob. About 7 people surrounded the person laying on the ground. All races were involved in the incident. If you weren't at the scene, you don't know the facts. Don't try to put your personal feelings on race/class into something that doesn't involve you or those issues.
corie December 17, 2012 at 02:03 pm
1ke, guess what I have never gotten in a fight with anyone at the bus stop and I ride the bus every day to and from work, why do ignorant people feel the need to fight at a bus stop or anywhere else for that matter? As far as your comments about selling old worn out houses. I happen to love my old home in Baltimore City , and I have no plans on moving any time soon, But I should not have to put up with ignorant out of control people. Should I be woken up every weekend night by fighting and screaming? I don't put up with the shit , it is my neighborhood an d I want to contiue living there in enjoyment. I will call the police everytime these kids act up. eventually they will get sick of dealing with the police and move on.
corie December 17, 2012 at 02:20 pm
I am not terrified of Buses or Malls or anywhere for that matter, I am a white woman and I walk everywhere in my neighborhood or anywhere in the city for that matter, but I get so sick of people starting trouble, why can't people have respect for other people and act like civilized humans?
corie December 17, 2012 at 02:43 pm
CD} for your information I did not state that there was a mob that night, only that my friend who stopped to help WAS attacked as he stabalized the victim, Secondly I didn't make any comments about my opinions or feelings about race, I simply stated the FACT that the kids involved were black, that is a fact, I also commented that on Saturday night there was a mob of kids at the same bus stop, about 20 14- 17 year olds, cussing, fighting, yelling at the bus stop when someone said something about their behavior it was the kids that made it a racial issue. And guess what It does fucking involve me, because I live right there and I am the one that gets woken up at least 3 nights a week by people yelling and fighting, being loud and disrespectful at the bus stop. It does involve me it is my neighborhood and I deserve to live in peace. If the kids involved were white , red green I would feel the same way. It has nothing to do with race, it has to do with people in general not being respectful of other people.
Buzz Beeler December 17, 2012 at 04:53 pm
corie, you have spoken the truth because you have seen the truth. Accountability is at the heart of these incidents and to ignore it by placing the blame on others only compounds it.
We are living in difficult times and culture issues are clashing. As the saying goes you have walked the walk and are now talking the talk, meaning you are living through it and see it.
John Clarke December 17, 2012 at 04:54 pm
I personally never said anything about race when making my comment, all I said was about the ghetto trash that has moved into the community and the neighborhoods have gone down hill. But than again I really don't give a damn about anyone liking or disliking my comment, because facts are facts and if the shoe fits wear it.
John Clarke December 17, 2012 at 05:09 pm
Totally true Buzz as we all know what happened to Golden Ring Mall with its demolition and now the same problems have only moved to WM Mall. Like I had said it isn't a race issue as much as the crimes are being committed by both black and white trash that have moved into the area. I still have family that live in Fullerton and I'm always hearing about how things have changed for the worse in their neighborhoods.
corie December 17, 2012 at 05:21 pm
I love how certain people blame you for being a racist because you state a FACT. I see it everyday. These kids are out of control, our whole society is becoming out of control. When I was a kid if kids were running around the neighborhood, getting into trouble or doing things we weren't supposed to do, if an adult corrected you, you stopped what you were doing and apologized, today kids will cuss you out and be disrespectful. They feel they have the right to act how ever they want and other people just have to deal with it. I am an adult, I pay taxes and when kids, adults whatever their race is start causing trouble in my neighborhood, it is time for them to go. i am aware and I will stand up for my right to enjoy my home. My neighbors feel the same way, regardless of color.

John you hit the target on that on. I lived in Rosedale for 25 years and saw the cancer.
Buzz Beeler December 17, 2012 at 05:31 pm
Because of lowlifes like you and your buddy Steve. Good solid citizens. Citizens who are spreading a cancer killing our country.
Steve December 17, 2012 at 06:05 pm
You didn't have to. Most everybody reading these posts are very familiar with racist dog whistle code speak.
Steve December 17, 2012 at 06:10 pm
It has nothing to do with "Section 8". That is utter BS. "Section 8" has been around since the early '40's.
Steve December 17, 2012 at 06:32 pm
"Totally true Buzz as we all know what happened to Golden Ring Mall with its demolition and now the same problems have only moved to WM Mall"
That's too funny. The old look what "those people" did to Golden Ring Mall canard. Whaaa! I can't shop at Caldor anymore. The truth of the matter is that Malls died all over the country at the same time. It wasn't because of "those people". The Golden Ring Mall site has been successfully repurposed. The daily traffic count is now over 150,000 cars per day.
Parkvillehoney December 17, 2012 at 07:46 pm
Bravo, corie!! Same thing in my neighborhood. New neighbors on Section 8 and had parties from 11PM-6AM with their friends screaming and cursing in the street. Baltimore County Police were called 3 times that night. They had a 2nd party, police were called again. Guess what, no more disturbing parties. I THINK they got the message that homeowners will not put up with their thrashy behavior.
Buzz Beeler December 17, 2012 at 08:07 pm
Stank 2 it takes a while for cancer or in your case Alzheimer's to kill. Look at you. You have no clue who your are. You use three AKA's lie over and over, hang out with that other lowlife Frank, and I could go on and on.
Where's you biddies quote he said I made. Now all of a sudden you two are silent. Like I said it takes time for the cancer to destroy.
corie December 17, 2012 at 09:12 pm
we also had a problem with addicts doing drugs in the alleys, we ran them off, telling them to leave, and calling the cops, after a while they got sick of us, if homeowners are more of a pain in the ass then the offenders, whatever their social class or race is then the offenders go away. I am NOT a racist I will say again I love my home and my neighbors regardless of color or class, the majority of the people in my neighborhood are awesome people, the kids in these cases are usually not from the neighborhood, they cause trouble in my neighborhood , they don't live around here, they are usually coming from Skateland. It is just teen age kids being obnoxious, but now they are causing disturbances, causing car accidents, threatening people whi live and work in the neighborhood. It is not acceptable behavior period.
BlahDittyBlah December 17, 2012 at 09:14 pm
@Ike: "What would expect when he birth rates for single black mothers is about 70%."
Wouldn't it really be 100%? Then again, the birth rate for single white mothers would also be the same...100%. Just sayin'...

Oops. My comment was intended for Buzz, not 1ke. LOL

Sry guys. All of you are wrong. A couple of you had it close. I was the "white" guy holding a "white guys" t shirt to the back of Alexus's head. The reason the person who stopped saw no mob was because they had chased the driver of the car several blocks away and hadn't made it back yet. The other half did indeed go into his car and steal everything they could get their hands on while their "friend" was bleeding on the pavement. And btw the driver was being chased and eventually hit at least once did stop to see if she was ok. And yes he was black too. But no one attacked me and my "white" friends. A few stupid words were said to us and a few people put those in their place. Make no mistake I have my own opinions. But unlike others I keep them to my damn self and help when I can and protect my own. Human beings shouldn't act like animals, but they do. It's life. Instead of complaining about it try to make it better. Sure it was dangerous. They were young scared and angry. Not a good combination. But the only thing for evil to prevail is for good men to stand by idly and do nothing.

Well written and correct. It's a shame there aren't more of you to take a stand.

Black youths? Black, white, yellow or purple doesn't matter when there is a fight... Smh...
CH January 17, 2013 at 02:03 am
To Bama: she is doing fine and at a rehab hospital. She suffered a brain injury but is progressing well
