After 27 Weeks of Hard Work, New Baltimore County Police Recruits to Hit the Streets

The 138th Recruit Class will receive its diplomas at a graduation ceremony Thursday night at Loch Raven High School.

The Baltimore County Police Department's 138th Recruit Class graduation will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Loch Raven High School, 1212 Cowpens Road.

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Police Chief James Johnson are among those scheduled to present special awards and diplomas, according to a statement from the department. The Honorable Julie Ensor, Clerk of the County Circuit Court, will administer the oath of office.

The recruits trained for 27 weeks, according to the statement, and will spend the next two years in the field. Thirty-two new Baltimore County police officers and two Cecil County deputies will graduate during the ceremony.

The following graduates will be assigned to local precincts:

Precinct 11/Essex

Ryan A. Kosmicky
Kristen E. Bostedo
Joshua A. Deems
Garrett A. Ingegno
Victoria J. Hawkins

Precinct 12/North Point

Dion D. Johnson
Eric M. Collins
Keith Campbell
James T. Heimiller
