Alleged Hillendale Squatter Arrested In Apartment Squatting

The alleged squatter is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Police have arrested a man they say was sleeping inside a vacant unit in Skylark Apartments.

John Caleb McDermott, 25, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary after he was discovered sleeping in a vacant apartment in the unit block of Peabody Court.

McDermott, who was charged with squatting in a Hillendale home back in October, was out on $75,000 bond at the time of his arrest.
