Armed Robber Strikes Harford Road Walgreens

According to police, a man displayed a handgun and stole cash.

The Baltimore County police officers are using a helicopter to search for a man they say robbed a Walgreens at gunpoint, officials said.

According to police, at about 10:20 a.m. Thursday, a white male entered the pharmacy—located in the 9600 block Harford Road—displayed a handgun and made off with an undetermined amount of cash stuffed in his hooded sweatshirt.

The man fled into the woods behind the store, and police said they are searching for him.

On Nov. 11, there was another robbery at a nearby pharmacy located in the 9500 block of Harford Road, as reported by ABC2.

Drugs were stolen from the Harford Health Mart in that incident, and the male suspect was not apprehended after a search by aviation and K-9 units, according to police.

Police are not saying whether or not the two incidents might be connected.
