Arrest Made In Parkville Man's Fourth of July Essex Murder

A Parkville area man was killed over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and police say they've made an arrest in the case. 

Seiko Harris, 35, of no fixed address, has been charged with the July 4 murder of 32-year-old Antoine Mason, of the 6800 block of McClean Boulevard, according to a news release from the Baltimore County Police Department. 

Harris faces one count of first-degree murder in connection with Mason's death and is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center, a search of online court records shows. 

Mason was found dead in an Essex neighborhood around 4:17 a.m. July 4, according to police. Officer responded to a home in the 900 block of Walnut Grove Road where they found Mason suffering from multiple stab wounds, the release states. 

He was transported to Franklin Square Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the release states. 

Police later learned that Mason had been visiting a woman when Harris arrived at the Walnut Grove Road home, got into an altercation with Mason and stabbed him multiple times, the release states. 

Harris has a child in common with the woman Mason had been visiting, according to police.
