Belair Road Taco Bell Robbed at Gunpoint

Gwynn Oak man later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police have arrested a man they say is responsible for an armed robbery at a Taco Bell restaurant in Fullerton early Monday morning.

Jason Conell Genuis, 27, was arrested and charged with armed robbery and first-degree assault after police say he walked into a Taco Bell in the 7900 block of Belair Road around 4:30 a.m. Mar. 5 and demanded that a manager open the store's safe at gunpoint.

A Police report says that Genuis was armed with a black handgun at the time of the robbery and that, when the safe could not be opened, he fled the store.
