The incident occurred Wednesday evening on Joppa Road.

A convenience store employee was robbed at gunpoint in Carney Wednesday night.

Carney is a diverse area, and it sure would help to know the race of the people involved. The description provided is not at all helpful, and really doesn't narrow it down. Now I'm on the lookout for a trio of slender men. Unless you put a full description, don't put any. I suspect political correctness is at play here, and in that case, you're not engaging in fair and accurate reporting, which is doing everyone a disservice.

I have to agree w/Stephanie. Too often descriptions are put out w/o the race being mentioned - so what do we look for ? Purple, yellow, white, black?? Come on, PC has no place here. A major disservice is done when this occurs - the Police & citizens can find a lot of 'males' roaming the area - does that make them suspects?

That is terrible. I agree with Stephanie. We need more of a clearer discription

would it be safe to assume, that the full descripton was given to the police ? just not posted here for PC reasons?

Apparently my last comment was flagged. I'll clean it up: Surprise, Surprise, the offer is onlyRead More good for NEW customers. Yet I've been a "loyal" Comcast customer for over 15 years now, never late on a payment nor complained when my service failed or I've had an issue that wasn't resolved without me taking "above and beyond" steps. Comcast is a juggernaut that just doesn't care if once it gets your business. You get locked in and then are stuck until your "contract" expires. Mine expires 2/22/2014 or I could cancel and pay $200. I'm going to hold out and then cut cable all together and just have Internet service so my Rokus work. But Verizon FIOS is looking better by the day.
