UPDATE: Cedonia Man Arrested in Nottingham Murder

Baltimore County police have arrested a Cedonia man in connection with last week's .

Travis Brian Durant, 23, of the 5900 block of Dawalt Avenue has been arrested for the Aug. 17 murder of Bradley Adam Robinson, police announced Wednesday afternoon.

Patrol officers, K-9 officers and a police helicopter responded to the area to assist with the search, but were .

Detectives learned that Robinson left his home on Brown Cone Garth to meet with Durant, an acquaintance. When he failed to return, a family member went looking for him and found his body on Jack Pine Place. After numerous interviews, detectives suspected Durant was connected to the murder.

Durant was arrested on Aug. 22. He is charged with first-degree murder and use of a handgun during a felony.

He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. Police are not releasing a photo of Durant, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Residents of the Nottingham neighborhood, known as Evergreen at Putty Hill, following the homicide. Several called the incident unusual for the area.

"You hear about stray bullets in the city, but not here," said Lauren Stoewer, who lives a few houses from the shooting.

Det. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County spokeswoman, agreed that shootings were an anomaly in Nottingham. 

The last reported homicide in the area was on July 16, 2009 when the owner of Putty Hill Liquors was shot and killed during a robbery, Batton said.
