Crime: Armed Robbery at Gamestop

Residential burglaries in Overlea round out our weekly crime roundup for Overlea-Fullerton.

On Feb. 22 at 9:10 p.m. — Two men played video games at the Gamestop located at 7909 Belair Road in Fullerton until the store was empty.  The men then forced an employee to open the cash register and safe at gunpoint before stealing cash and the victim's wallet and keys.  The suspects also stole the DVR surveillance recording before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspects are described by police as a two black males, one in his 20s and one in his mid-40s.  The younger suspect is around 6 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build.  He was last seek wearing dark clothing and a dark mask.  The older suspect is 6 feet 3 inches tall with a medium build and was last seen wearing dark pants, a light gray jacket and an Orioles baseball cap.

Between Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. and Feb. 20 at 12 p.m. — A dirtbike, lawn mower, snow blower, weed whacker, ladder and gardening tools were stolen from the shed of a home in the 5700 block of Van Dyke Road.

Between Feb. 19 at 6:30 a.m. and Feb. 21 at 9 a.m. — Copper pipe was stolen from three trucks at a BGE Utility Construction Services site in the 7900 block of Hazelwood Road.  The thieves cut a chain gate to gain entrance to the facility.

Between Feb. 18 at 9 p.m. and Feb 19. at 11:30 a.m. — A purse and wallet were stolen from a vehicle parked in the unit block of Cliffwood Road.
