Crime: Chespeake Bank Robbed

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Carney

Waltham Woods Road, 8900 block, 7:45 p.m., Aug. 25. A man was robbed by three men who approached the victim from behind, pressed an object against his back and demanded cash. The victim complied and the suspects fled.

Hines Road, 9100 block, 4:10 a.m., Aug. 24. A vehicle was burglarized but nothing was stolen. The victim was awake and praying when he noticed that motion-sensitive security lights were on outside his home. He looked outside and saw a man, later identified as  Dylan John England of Deltom Court, allegedly going through the vehicle.

The car owner went outside and startled the person in the car, who fled.  After the victim called 911, police  conducted a search of the area and arrested England after a traffic stop.

England, 19, was identified by the victim and charged with fourth-degree burglary.

Joppa Road, 2000 block, 2:45 p.m., Aug. 22. A Chesapeake Bank branch was robbed and an undetermined amount of cash was stolen. A man entered the bank and handed a note demanding money to a bank employee — the teller complied with the demand and the man fled the bank towards Satyr Hill Road.

The suspect is described as a man between 25 and 35 years old, approximately 5-feet-8 inches, between 175 and 185 pounds. When he committed the robbery, the suspect was wearing a black & white plaid shirt, tan shorts and a black & white baseball cap with a red logo.

Harford Road, 9200 block, 10:34 p.m., Aug. 19. A man attempted to rob Carney Liquors when he entered the store and pointed a handgun at the three employees working at the time. The robber demanded cash from the employees and the store, but they did not comply and the man fled through a rear door.

The robber is described as between 35 and 40 years old, approximately 5-feet-8, 160 pounds. He has medium brown hair and was last seen wearing a dark shirt and gray pants.

Roger Valley Court, unit block, between 11:45 and 11:55 a.m., Aug. 18. A home was burglarized after the gate to the rear yard was broken, causing $700 in damage. The burglar then crawled through a dog door and removed a security bar, but no items appear to have been stolen.

Parkville

Willoughby Road, 3100 block, between 5 p.m., Aug. 19 and 9:30 p.m., Aug. 24. A television, Nintendo Wii video game system, DVD player, and stereo were stolen from a home. Entry was gained when the rear door to the residence was forced open.

Avondale Road, 9100 block, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., Aug. 24. Three wallets, cash and two debit cards were stolen from a home. Entry was gained through an unlocked front door and the items were stolen from purses in the living room.

Moreland Avenue, 3000 block, between 10 and 11 a.m., Aug. 23. A wallet containing cash and credit cards was stolen from a home while the victim was outdoors mowing the lawn. Entry was gained through a rear door.

Taylor Avenue, 2700 block,  2:31 a.m., Aug. 19. A Royal Farms store was burglarized by a man who stole 50 packs of Marlboro Red cigarettes and 40 packs of Newport cigarettes. The man, described as in his 40s or 50s and wearing a black shirt and blue jeans, used a crowbar to pry open the front door of the store, then loaded 90 packs of cigarettes into a brown box.
