Crime: Fullerton IHOP Robbed; Homes in Overlea Area Burglarized

Your weekly wrap-up of crime in the Overlea-Fullerton area, compiled from police reports at White Marsh Precinct 9.

Fullerton

Belair Road, 7900 block. At 12:04 a.m. May 11. Two men armed with an edged weapon assaulted a man as he was closing the IHOP restaurant in Fullerton Plaza. The robbers stole the bank deposit bag containing cash and were last seen fleeing toward Kmart.

Rossville Boulevard, 7200 block. At 2:40 p.m. May 10. An iPhone was stolen from the hands of a CCBC Essex student as she was walking on campus. A man approached the student, pushed her to the ground and ripped the phone from her hands. The robber then ran toward Franklin Square Drive.

Elmwood

Elmwood Road, 500 block. Between 7:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. May 9. Multiple televisions, a computer, an Xbox and several video games were stolen from a home. Burglars entered the residence by forcing open a rear door.

Elmwood Road, 500 block. Between 9:20 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. May 9. A flat-screen television, a Nintento Wii, several video games, a laptop computer, cash, credit cards and gift cards were stolen from a home. The burglar entered the home through an unlocked front window.

Elmwood Road, 700 block. Between 10:10 and 11:30 a.m. May 9. Burglars broke into a home by forcing an air conditioning unit out of a window then ransacked several rooms; the total loss as a result of the incident is unknown.

Overlea

Willow Avenue, unit block. Between 8 and 10:40 p.m. May 9. A laptop computer and bag were stolen from a home. Burglars entered the residence without force.

Cedonia

Utrecht Road, near Leiden Road. At 10:30 p.m May 9. A man was accosted by three robbers who struck him with a baseball bat and demanded money. The man complied and the robbers ran away.

Overdale Avenue, 5100 block. Between 3 and 10 p.m. May 11. Several containers filled with crushed cans and Ritz crackers were stolen from the porch area of a home. Burglars entered the residence by breaking a rear storm window.
