Crime: Overlea Home Burglarized, Wii Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases were a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Overlea

Linden Avenue, 6700 block. At 2 p.m. Aug. 5. A Nintendo Wii game system valued at $200 was stolen from a home. The front door to the home was kicked in, causing $500 dollars in damage and allowing the burglar access to the home.

According to a neighbor who witnessed saw the burglar in the rear of the home, the suspect is a black male in his 30's with a medium complexion, stocky build and disheveled appearance. He was last seen fleeing westbound on Maple Avenue.

Rosedale

Kenwood Avenue at Hazelwood Avenue. At 10:40 p.m. Aug. 5. Two males, an adult and a juvenile, were assaulted as they walked down Kenwood Avenue before someone tried to rob them. One of the victims felt his assailant go through his pockets, finding nothing to steal, before fleeing.

Cedonia

Leiden Road, 5600 block. Between 3:30 and 5 p.m. Aug. 11. Two televisions, nine pairs of shoes, a PlayStation 3, and numerous video games were stolen from a home; the total value of the items stolen is approximately $7,200. Burglars entered through a basement window and let the residents dog outside before stealing the above-listed items.

Hazelwood Avenue, 5100 block. At 1:09 p.m. Aug. 5. A juvenile was assaulted and robbed of a pair of headphones.
