Crime: Stolen Car Recovered, Juvenile Arrested

Nunley Drive, 8300 block. Between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 9. Cash and a Playstation 2 controller were stolen from an apartment. The victim advised officers that she noticed the property was missing nearly a month ago but did not contact police.
Moreland Avenue, 3000 block. Between 1 and 8 a.m. Oct. 12. A set of keys was stolen from a home by a burglar who forced his way inside through a side door. The burglar then used the keys to steal a 2006 Kia Rio with Maryland tags 9CJX17 that was parked outside the home.
A detective with the Regional Auto Theft Taskforce was able to locate the stolen vehicle headed westbound on Walther Boulevard near the city line and pulled over and arrested a Baltimore City teen who was driving the vehicle.

The juvenile was charged with first-degree burglary, grand theft auto and petty theft.
Hiss Avenue, 3200 block. Between Oct. 10 and Oct. 12. Two watches and a ring were stolen from a home. Burglars broke a plexiglass window on a basement door, reached through and unlocked several locks to get inside. Once they entered the home, they ransacked a bedroom and stole the jewelry.
