Crime: Street Robbery in Parkville

Superior Avenue, 2700 block, between 2 and 10:20 p.m. April 3. Two televisions, a DVD player, a Playstation, a laptop computer and 2 mink coats were stolen from a home. The burglar forced open the front door to gain access then stolen the above-listed items.

Lowells Glen Road, 2200 block, at 2:07 p.m. April 2. A woman was arrested after breaking into an apartment by breaking a window. The burglar, 58-year-old Joanie Warida Hamlette of Baltimore, was arrested and charged with the burglary after police responded to the scene of the crime to find her inside the apartment.

Parkville

Harford Road, 7700 block, at 9:55 p.m. April 2. A woman's purse was stolen by a man as she exited an area store; the robber then fled on foot. Police have arrested 39-year-old Troy William Kolb of Parkville and charged him with robbery after he confessed to the crime. The victim's property has been returned.

Wilson Avenue, 7700 block, between 7 a.m. April 1 and 11 a.m. April 3. A burglar broke into a shed located in the fenced-in rear yard of a home by cutting the door hinges to gain entry. No property was stolen.
