Delivery Man Assaulted, Robbed, Sent to Hospital

Police believe they have linked together two cases where local food delivery men were assaulted at a Nottingham apartment.

A China Taste food delivery man suffered serious injuries after two men attacked and robbed him last week in a Nottingham neighborhood, according to Baltimore County police.

Police believe the incident is linked to another assault and robbery that occurred in the same area in mid-March, according to Lt. Ron Brooks.

The 58-year-old victim was making a delivery in the unit block of Raylon Drive at about 10:10 p.m. on March 26 when two men jumped him and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

Brooks believes the case may be linked to a similar incident that occurred in the same area on March 16.

In that incident, police were alerted to a robbery in the apartment complex on Raylon Drive at midnight.

A Venus Pizza delivery man reported being jumped by two men who stole $500 from him in the process. The 40-year-old delivery man was also transported to Bayview, although with non-life threatening injuries.
