Dirt Bike Stolen From Shed, Man Robbed of Backpack

Carney

Joppa Pond Road, 9400 block. Between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and 7 p.m. Aug. 4. A 20-inch Black Hyper Mike Spinner bike was stolen from the back yard of a home. 

Magledt Road, 9900 block. Between 2 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 2. A home was ransacked but nothing was stolen. Burglars got inside by prying the lock on a rear basement window.

Rockingham Court, unit block. Between 7:50 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1. An HP laptop computer and a small blue L.L. Bean travel bag were stolen from a home. Burglars got inside by kicking in a rear basement window then ransacked the home and fled through the front door, leaving it wide open.

Parkville

Ellen Avenue, 2300 block. Between 5 p.m. Aug. 3 and 1 p.m. Aug. 4. Tools and a 2004 Honda CRF80 dirt bike were stolen from a locked storage building in the back yard of a home.

Nottingham

Beldale Court, 8400 block. At 11:30 p.m. July 29. A man was robbed of his backpack at gunpoint.

Two robbers approached the man from behind, pointed a gun at him and demanded his cash. When the victim said he had no cash, the robbers took his backpack, pushed him to the ground and fled toward Dunfield Road.

Overlea

Meadow Road, 500 block. Between 4 p.m. July 22 and 5:46 p.m. July 26. Burglars tried to break into a home by prying open a back door and a window pane, damaging both.
