Five patients were taken to Baltimore area hospitals for treatment.

A house fire in Fullerton injured five people Sunday afternoon, but none of the injuries appeared life-threatening, Baltimore County fire officials said.

Before 2:30 p.m., a home in the 600 block of Dale Avenue caught fire, according to a post from the official Baltimore County Police and Fire Twitter page.

Fire crews rescued the injured from the burning building, and five people were taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries, according to fire officials.

The fire was under control by 3 p.m. Sunday, the county's public safety Twitter feed states.
