About 24 people turned out to hand out crime-prevention literature in the community.

The Linover Community was among many in the White Marsh and Parkville police precincts that chose to celebrate the 28th anniversary of National Night Out on Tuesday night.

About 24 residents turned out to help the Linover Improvement Association pass out fliers during a neighborhood walk that began at 5:30 p.m. The event was also attended by community outreach officer Shawn Havens, White Marsh police precinct Captain Michael Balog and 8th District Delegate John Cluster.
