Loch Raven Royal Farms Robbed

Two men held up the Royal Farms and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

A Royal Farms store in the 1500 block of East Joppa Road was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning.

Police responded to the store at 6:58 a.m. to find one victim outside the store crying, according to police spokeswoman Elise Armacost.

According to victims at the scene, two men entered the store and announced a robbery.  While the first man, armed with a silver and black handgun, went behind the counter and demanded that the manager open the safe, the second robber, also armed with a handgun, attempted to lock the front door of the store and grappled with a customer, Armacost said.

The robbers were able to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from the store and fled before police arrived, according to Armacost.

Baltimore County police are searching for the two men involved in the crime. One suspect is described as a male between 22 and 25 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a tan hooded coat, black pants, a black backpack, dark shoes and a ski mask.

The other suspect is described as a male between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5-feet-11 and was last seen wearing a black hooded coat, black pants, a black and white backpack and a ski mask.
