Loch Raven Woman and Teen Arrested in Alleged Assault, Robbery

A Loch Raven woman and a teenager were arrested after the pair allegedly assaulted and robbed a taxi cab driver on Friday night.

Kristian Symone Kelly, 21, of the 5700 block of Loch Raven Blvd and a juvenile were each charged with robbery and second-degree assault in the wake of the incident.

Around 10 p.m. on Friday, a woman and teen got into a cab on Dulaney Valley Road, bound for Loch Raven Boulevard. The woman reportedly got into an argument with the driver, then she grabbed his hair and punched him. The driver stopped the cab and the teen allegedly punched the driver through the driver's side window and stole $150 from his jacket pocket, police said.

The pair then fled but were later arrested.
