A police officer broke his arm while chasing a second suspect.

Police arrested one man and are searching for another after the pair allegedly stole nearly $22,000 worth of automotive rims, tires and batteries from Heritage Honda in Parkville. While chasing the second suspect, a police officer fell and broke his arm.

At approximately 12:55 a.m., July 23, officers responded to Heritage Honda in the 9200-block of Harford Road for a possible burglary-in-progress. Officers arrived to find a rental truck backed up to an open loading bay door at the business, according to Baltimore County police spokeswoman Det. Cathy Batton.

Officers observed the stolen merchandise loaded into the cargo area of the rental truck, Batton said.
