Man Arrested in Connection With Overlea Home Invasion

Baltimore County police have arrested a city man in connection with a home invasion robbery in the Overlea neighborhood on Feb. 5.

Anthony Coles, 42, was arrested Feb. 16 and charged with one count of first-degree burglary, three counts of armed robbery, three counts of first-degree assault, one count of theft of property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, one count of second-degree assault and one count of felony use of a handgun, according to court records.

Police allege that Coles was involved in a Super Bowl Sunday home invasion robbery in the 6700 block of Beech Avenue in Overlea.

Police have accused Coles of entering the house through an unlocked window, forcing three women into an upstairs bedroom at gunpoint and stealing three Louis Vuitton purses and a gold watch.

Coles is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
