Man Assaulted, Robbed Behind Parkville High School

A 56-year-old Parkville resident told police he blacked out and had $170 taken in the attack.

A Parkville man told police he was attacked, lost consciousness and was robbed while walking behind Parkville High School on Saturday evening.

The 56-year-old man said he was attacked about 5:30 p.m., after he left a 7-Eleven store at Old Harford and Edgewood Roads, and noticed he was being followed by three men. During the attack, the man said he apparently fell and blacked out, according to Baltimore County police spokeswoman Det. Cathy Batton. 

When the man awoke, he found his glasses broken and approximately $170 missing from his wallet.

The victim returned home and was eventually convinced to seek medical treatment by a family member. Batton said the victim was treated for cuts to his nose and chin at Union Memorial Hospital. He reported the attack about five hours after it occurred.

Police are searching for three male suspects. One with short brown hair between 18 and 20 years old, approximately 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. The other two are described similarly. Both have short brown hair and are 5-foot-5 and about 140 pounds.
