Man Robs Harford Road Walgreens

Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a Walgreens store in the 9600 block of Harford Road during a robbery Tuesday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 2, a man approached the Walgreens checkout and placed a pair of black knit gloves and toothpaste on the counter. A Walgreens employee began bagging the man's items, and when she looked back up the man demanded cash.
The Walgreens manager opened the cash drawer, and placed money into a Walgreens shopping bag, then the robber demanded the large bills from under the drawer and Newport 100 cigarettes.

During the robbery, the robber kept a hand in his pocket, which the employees took to mean he had a weapon.
Several police units responded to the scene to search for the robber, but were unable to locate him.

Themale suspect is described as having facial hair, approximately 6-foot-1 and weighing about 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black knit hat, a maroon zip-up sweatshirt, dark pants and blue latex gloves.
