Motorcyclist Killed in Accident at Joppa and Magledt
The fatal collision occurred Saturday night.
An accident at the corner of East Joppa Road and Magledt Road in Carney left one man dead Saturday night after his motorcycle collided with a small SUV.
Joseph Rafael Emery, 52, of the 1200 block of Joppa Road in Joppa, was pronounced dead at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital shortly before 8:15 p.m.
Emery was traveling westbound on Joppa Road on a 2004 Harley-Davidson, according to police, and as he neared Magledt Road, a 2004 Mazda Tribute SUV driven by Ken Andrew Tiffner, 31, of Parkville made a left turn from the eastbound side of Joppa Road onto northbound Magledt Road. Police responded to the accident at about 7:30 p.m.

Police said Tiffner was at fault in the accident but charges are pending a report from the Baltimore County State's Attorney's office.
