North Plaza Subway Robbed At Gunpoint

The robbery was reported to police Wednesday night.

Three armed men stole cash from a Subway restaurant in North Plaza Wednesday evening.

Around 9:05 p.m. Jan. 30, three men entered a Subway store located at 8834 Waltham Woods Road; one of the men then bought and paid for three chocolate chip cookies, according to a police report.

As soon as the store employee opened the register, one of the men placed a black semi-automatic handgun on the counter pointed at her, the report states. Another of the men then told her to "do nothing but hand them all the money in the register."
