Overlea Crime: TV, iPad, Silverware Stolen From Maple Avenue Home

Overlea

Maple Avenue, unit block. Between 8:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 27. A 26-inch Sanyo television, an iPad2 and silverware, valued at a total of $900, were stolen from a home.

Hazelwood Avenue, 4900 block. Between 10 a.m. June 12 and 12:13 p.m. June 27. Approximately 40 new truck tires and rims, valued at a total of $24,200, were stolen from Ted's Towing. A burglar got onto the property by cutting open a fence then stole the above-listed items.

Forest View Avenue, 4500 block. Around 2:05 a.m. June 23. A man was arrested after he allegedly broke into a home. 33-year-old Antonio Shawnelle Woods of Chestnut Oak Way in Oakleigh was charged with third-degree burglary.
