Overlea Home Robbed With Replica BB Gun

Two people living at the Belair Road address were assaulted during the robbery.

A television was stolen from an Overlea home during a home invasion robbery last Friday.

Around 9:30 a.m. May 18, a man forced his way into a home in the 7000 block of Belair Road, according to a police report. Once inside the robber struck a resident in the head and face using a black replica Colt MKIV BB gun.

Following the assault, the robber left the home but later returned, the report states.

On the second trip the robber kicked open the front door, breaking the door frame, and stole a 32-inch flatscreen Sony television, the report states.

The robber is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, approximately 5'10" and 190 pounds with a medium build, the report states.

He was last seen wearing a black mask, dark blue sweatshirt, blue jean shorts and white tennis shoes.
