Overlea/Fullerton Crime: Air-Conditioning Units Stolen from Backyard

Cedmont/Cedonia

Westwood Avenue, 5800 block. Between 7:30 a.m. Sept. 12 and 3:45 a.m. Sept. 13. A sweatsuit, bra and gym bag were stolen from a home after a burglar removed a window air-conditioning unit to gain entry.

Fullerton

Ridge Road, 4600 block. Between Aug. 10 and Sept. 10. Two air-conditioning units, valued at a total of $6,000, were stolen from a fenced-in backyard.

Rosedale

Kenwood Avenue, 6100 block. At 4 p.m. Sept. 12. A man was robbed and his iPod was stolen. Three men accosted the victim and went through his pockets as the victim struggled to retain his mp3 player.

arrested two juvenile males and charged them with robbery. A third male is still being sought. Police describe the third robber as a black male, possibly named “Tyrone,” who was last seen wearing a blue Adidas sweat jacket and jeans.
