Parkville/Carney Crime: Bicycles Stolen, Residential Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Harris Avenue, 8100 block. Between Aug. 15 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. A white and purple boys BMX GT bicycle was stolen from the locked, fenced-in backyard of a home.

Oakleigh Court, 1700 block. Between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14. A white Mongoose bicycle and blue electric scooter were stolen from the yard of a home by two juveniles.

A witness saw the two boys take the scooter and the bike and recognized the scooter as stolen property. The witness recovered the scooter.

Avondale Road, 9100 block. Between Aug. 6 and 12 p.m. Aug. 12. Craftsman wrenches, a Ryobi drill and saw, a Dewalt drill, a Ridgid saw and a Bose speaker dock were stolen from the unlocked garage of a home. The total value of the stolen property is estimated at $1,075.

Superior Avenue, 2700 block. Between Aug. 8 and Aug. 12. A 46-inch television, a heater, and a Sony Playstation 3 were stolen from a home. A rear sliding door was pried open to get inside.

Harford Road, 7700 block. Between June 1 and Aug. 3. A black 1996 Chevrolet Blazer with Maryland tags 25236M7 was stolen from the parking lot of Poptronics Electronics.
