Parkville/Carney Crime: Car Stolen in Robbery

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Carney Road, 9300 block, between 1 p.m., Oct. 19 and 9:57 a.m., Oct. 20. A Playstation 3, several Playstation 3 games, a guitar, two iPods and two digital video cameras were stolen from a home. Glass was broken on a rear basement door to gain entry.

Ardmore Avenue, 7900 block, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Oct. 19. A laptop, camera, hard drive, wedding ring, engagement ring and two watches were stolen from a home. The total value of the stolen property is approximately $8,320.

Oak Avenue, 7800 block, between 4 p.m., Oct. 11 and 5:30 p.m., Oct. 13. Cash was stolen from a jacket hanging in the bedroom closet of an apartment.

Kings Ridge Road, 2900 block, 3:25 p.m., Oct. 13. A man was walking toward his apartment building when he was approached by another man who snatched the victim's car keys and ran around the building, where he got in the victim's car and drove off. The car, a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, was later recovered after being located by Onstar in the 2700 block of Tivoly Avenue in the Ednor Gardens area of Baltimore City. The victim's car keys were not recovered.

Joppa Road, 3000 block, between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., Oct. 12. A home was broken into and two DVDs were taken. An identification card, sunglasses and a used condom were left behind. Police are searching for the man whose identification was left at the scene.
