Parkville/Carney Crime: Homes Ransacked, Burglarized

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases were a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Deltom Court, 9700 block, between 8:45 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Dec. 15. Coins, cash, two televisions, a DVD player, two rifles and a shotgun were stolen from a home, a loss of more than $6,300. A rear sliding glass door to the home was pried open and the burglars ransacked the home, removing matresses and couch cushions, opening draws and cabinets and removing food from the refrigerator.

Police are currently searching for three men suspected of the burglary. One man is described as a white male approximately 6-foot and 185 pounds with a shaved head, a couple of days growth of facial hair, last seen wearing a tan jacket with tan colored boots. Descriptions of the other two men were not as complete.

The descriptions were given by a witness who saw the suspects leave in a mid-sized vehicle, possibly a Nissan Altima or Chevrolet Malibu.

California Avenue, 3000 block, between 7:40 a.m. and 2:05 p.m. Cash was stolen from a home after burglars got inside through a side door. The home was ransacked and the cash was taken.
